Yes. And 6 of the western part could join with the Big XII.

That would give them access to Texas recruiting, which would help them greatly. I'm talking about Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, and Nebraska. Every one of these Big Ten schools would benefit from access to Texas.

I like the idea a lot. The only leave behinds would be Purdue, Maryland, and Rutgers. The SEC might consider taking Purdue and Maryland, or the Big XII might take them along with Cincinnati and one other to go to 20 themselves.
